Turning new pages (1937–2012)
The concept starts with the no. "75", the mile stone year of celebration. Numbers will be the underlying theme of the publication. It is also a symbol for the PolyU's celebration of past achievements and an occasion for looking forward to future possibilities, turning new pages.

Numbers signify various facets of PolyU’s achievements such as time, technology, scientific investigations, progress, objectivity, etc. It is a fitting theme that appropriately communicates the success stories of PolyU.

The core of the publication will showcases 75 pages of PolyU’s achievement under various realms. A large number will be featured on each page, styled differently using found numbers around the city, with number motifs running throughout the publication. The plethora of numbers with different personalities signify the diversity of PolyU’s unique individuals that form dynamic communities of practice in various areas, contributing enthusiasitically to PolyU’s achievements with a passionate and experimental attitude.
